Responsibilities:
- Understand and be the resident expert on the product, roadmap, market, competitive landscape, trends, and partner ecosystem
- Drive and report on the success of the product launches, strategically advising both our Product and Marketing teams, and molding product differentiation
- Your B2B SaaS experience, passion for product launches, excitement about AI technologies, and exceptional management skills will be instrumental in achieving the business objectives
- Ensure visibility and alignment with the executive leadership team
- Product Strategy and Positioning
- Maintain a deep understanding of the products, target market, and competitive landscape to shape the product marketing strategy.
- Define and articulate compelling value propositions and messaging that resonates with our customers and differentiates our solutions in the market.
- Collaborate closely with the product management team to influence product roadmap decisions based on your research, market insights, and voice of the customer.
- Educate executive and product teams on industry trends and how the company can improve product-market fit
- Go-to-Market Planning and Execution
- Measure the success of product marketing campaigns.
- Lead the development and execution of quarterly go-to-market plans for new product launches, feature enhancements, and major releases.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with product management, sales, CS, marketing, and other teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
- Create more focus and energy around our competitive messaging and positioning frameworks.
- Create compelling and right-sized product packages and pricing
- Educate, advise, and serve as a sounding board to the sales, marketing, and customer success teams
- Lead the creation of high-quality collateral, pitches, demos, and competitive content that help the company put its best foot forward with prospects
- Work with the entire marketing team to create fabulous thought leadership campaigns and content, like how-to blogs, research, surveys, data reports, interactive tools, and infographics
- Present to prospects, customers, and analysts on thought leadership topics, product demonstrations, etc.
- Arm sales with great content and the right tactics to close business efficiently, and work cross-functionally to deliver programs that turn customers into the biggest fans
- Market Intelligence and Customer Insights
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform product and marketing strategies.
- Conduct market research and customer interviews to gather insights and identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth.
- Analyze market data, customer feedback, and usage metrics to drive data-informed decisions and optimize product messaging.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, with a proven track record of success (must have)
- Prior experience marketing enterprise SaaS solutions to CFO’s and their finance teams
- Strong enthusiasm for product launches and demonstrated expertise in developing go-to-market strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong storytelling skills (must have)
- Be a strong writer and a good communicator to build strategy around product positioning and messaging.
- Need to equip and enable GTM with value-add content
- Cross-functional experience working with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success (must have)
- Ability to lead by influence and maintain good relationships
- Partner with Product, package it up and demonstrate the value of it to Sales
- Exceptional skills at leading by influence with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals
- Navigated changing markets (must have)
- Experience from multiple industries and be able to flex, ideally within B2B SaaS.
- Be able to demonstrate that can learn new industries and ramp quickly. Client will teach AI and finance.
- Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the finance spend management, accounts payable, or spend-to-pay market (preferred)
- Demonstrated track record as a strategic, collaborative, and highly empathetic Product Marketing leader and subject matter expert
- Creative, and a constant source of new ideas for how to message, how to market, and how to position them for success
- No ego or defensiveness.
