We are excited to be recruiting for a multi-disciplinary firm located near the heart of Northern California’s wine country.  This company has been an established cornerstone of this region’s engineering community since 1978.  This is an opportunity for a Project Manager with process engineering experience to join their Water/Wastewater Division.   Their expertise consists of working in wineries, breweries, food and beverage industry, municipal systems, residential, commercial, educational, and healthcare institutions.  The department offers many diverse services from waste to energy facilities, high rate wastewater treatment including membrane bioreactors, anaerobic digestion and nutrient control and recovery, water treatment including filtration, disinfection, reverse osmosis, as well as resource recovery to reduce water and energy usage and pollutant discharges. 


The firm operates on a 9/80 schedule, which means you have every other Friday off.



  • 5 to 10 years of wastewater design engineering experience showing successively increased responsibility.
  • Successful experience managing others and leading an engineering design team through all phases of project design.
  • Strong wastewater engineering design experience, including:
    • Thorough understanding of water/wastewater treatment processes including biologic treatment.
    • Equipment design experience including pumps, blowers, compressors, aeration equipment, boilers/hot water heaters, HVAC systems, heat exchangers,
    • Ability to perform heating and cooling requirements calculations for wastewater treatment processes is desired.
    • Experience with above-grade piping design.
  • A California Professional Engineering license (P.E.), or in the process of obtaining.
  • Experience working with inter-related engineering disciplines, preferred.
  • BS or MS Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical discipline.
  • Ability to focus on the details of a project while understanding the big picture from the project team perspective.
  • Ability to solve problems, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid Driver’s License.
