Our Client is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join their highly tenured group; this is a concept to completion role!

Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Senior Project Engineer will design and develop new air conditioning and heat pump products, coordinate all engineering activities, supplying high quality, cost competitive, marketable product designs.

Responsibilities:

New Product Development

Project Management (ensuring on-time completion)

Cost reduction implementation

Create and review detailed BOM

Insure manufacturability of new products

Redesign existing products to keep current with regulations.

Product safety and performance testing submittals and follow up

Regulatory and compliance experience

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience designing and developing air conditioning and heat pump equipment

Project Management Experience, 3D modeling preferably Solidworks

Geothermal and Combustion product experience a plus

Knowledge of ITS, UL, AHRI and ASHRAE standards and certification procedures
