Process Engineer, Aluminum Extrusion

As the Process Engineer, you will:

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all extrusion lines.
• Insure operational compliance with regards to environmental regulatory agencies.
• Lead operations initiatives including Quality and Efficiency Programs such as Lean Manufacturing, ISO, 5S and Six Sigma.
• Recommend, develop and help implement process equipment systems which improve reliability, reduce costs and maintain operational controls.
• Insure quality and service standards are met and exceeded through establishment of standards, statistical methods, good communication, follow-up and proper training.
• Work with Plant Manager, Team Supervisors and technicians to accomplish plant and company goals.
• Understand manufacturing process and operational principles of production in order to develop new products and optimize existing products.
  
  
  

Process Engineer, Aluminum Extrusion

Qualifications:

5+ years engineering experience in Extrusion Process, knowledge of Aluminum Extrusion preferred.
Proven ability in the application of mechanical engineering concepts and tools deliver practical solutions.
Proven ability in delivering assigned task on time while meeting technical and reliability goals.
Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with a cross functional team, (plant manager, manufacturing, maintenance, etc.)
