This firm’s solutions play an important role in today’s leading IT initiatives such as: data center consolidation, cloud computing, virtualization and mobile computing and they hold a strong position in this rapidly growing market.  They are seeking a Regional Sales Representative (individual contributor) to drive business in the western part of the US, covering a multi-state territory calling on infrastructure, testing / QA and application development executive leadership in F1000 companies across industry verticals. The successful candidate will further develop opportunities in their existing client base as well as hunt new opportunities within their geographic assignment.  This company is financially sound, well funded with many marquee clients and has a tenured top notch executive leadership team.  They value performance, have a strong corporate culture and invest in market presence and sales supporting efforts.  This quota carrying position is an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional to make a substantial income and work for a “rising star” company.  Our client has a record of career promotion from within and this visible position will play a substantial role in their continued growth.

 

Required Skills;

 

  • 10+ yrs knowledge and experience selling large enterprise software solutions
  • Experience selling testing/Q/A, network management or application performance engineering solutions required.
  • Knowledge of SDLC best practices desired.
  • Must live in San Francisco / San Jose metro geography and be willing to travel regionally.
  • History and track record of quota attainment with hunter mentality building a territory is desired.
  • Excellent presentation skills and professional presence
  • Strong team building skills and project management knowledge is desired

 

Realistic target earnings at $ 225.0K + (base, variable) and a full suite of benefits.
