My client, a PEO industry leader is looking for a Workers Compensation Examiner to work  with their client, a Para Transit Ambulance company in Brooklyn, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handle caseload, observing the applicable statutes and regulations for NY, PA, DE and MD.

Authorize benefits for both indemnity and medical claims working closely with medical case management.

Work closely with attorneys, attending mediations, trials and arbitration, conduct settlement negotiations

Interpret medical reports

Determine return to work process

QUALIFICATIONS:

3 years expertise handling workers' compensation claims

NY adjuster license

College degree preferred

IEA certificates

Excellent communication, verbal and written, organizational skills
