Our client is considered one of Cisco's "Go-To" partners for high-end projects nationwide. Due to exceptional growth, they are looking to add Sales Engineers in NYC and CT.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will plan, design, implement and manage Cisco-based IP telephony networks and Cisco routers, switches, gateways and have enthusiasm for developing expertise in security solutions, wireless solutions and network-management solutions. The Cisco IP Communications Engineer must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be client-focused, service driven and able to multitask. This is a position that requires cross-functional duties with pre-sales engineering support, consulting/professional services delivery and post-installation technical support. The Cisco IP Communications Engineer will provide technical pre-sales and post-sales architecture assistance for prospects and clients.
Requirements: Candidate must be a Cisco Certified Professional and have experience with Cisco's IP Communications Technology including Call Manager, Unity, IPCC Express, and other Cisco UC technology. Other requirements include:
- CCNP and/or CCVP
- CCIE is a plus
- Proven experience with Cisco Unified Communications
- PBX / TDM
- Some travel may be required
