Description: 

Client is seeking an experienced Cabinet Door Supervisor to be part of their woodworking team.  They are a fast growing Semi-Custom Cabinet Manufacturer.  The Cabinet Door Supervisor will provide the technical expertise, innovation and leadership to drive assembly activities for the division, including problem resolution, production completion, quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities: 

     Manage all cabinet door, drawer, and face frame building area employees.

     Execute projects that target improvement in door, drawer, and face frame assembly processes.

     Manage employees while meeting production labor goals.

     Establish, document and implement standard procedures based on empirical results.

     Assist in developing preventive maintenance procedures and schedules on all equipment.

     Conduct routine audits to ensure conformance to documented best practices and standard operating procedures.

     Work collaboratively with other supervisors to solve problems and create opportunities.

     Provide technical training to employees.

     Troubleshoot mechanical issues and communicate with maintenance employees.

     Ensure production schedules are met daily and produced to the company's quality and customer satisfaction.

     Follow all safety guidelines and procedures as outlined by Koch & Co. safety protocols.

 

Requirements: 

     Knowledge of the cabinet and/or furniture industry, including wood species and assembly techniques.

     Willing to adapt to Koch & Co. assembly procedures and processes, assuring that end product is built to standards and specifications set forth by Koch and Co., Inc.

     Excellent teamwork facilitation skills.

     Strong problem solving and leadership skills.

     Good verbal and written communication skills.

     Ability to lead a team in a fast paced facility with attention to detail while meeting production schedules and deadlines.

          1.  Inspect, train and oversee assembly and quality control employees.

          2.  Assist quality control with touch-ups and remakes to ensure a quality cabinet is shipped to the customer.

     Knowledge of other areas in a cabinet facility a plus.

Compensation: 

$70,000.00 - $75,000.00
