Summary:

This position manages the supply of materials in many concurrent construction projects across US, Canada and Puerto Rico. As the primary customer contact, professional communication is crucial to success.  Strong Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task will allow the Project Manager to meet the required delivery dates and deadlines for multiple projects at different stages of the construction schedule.  Attention to detail will allow the PM to prevent and minimize mistakes which are crucial to customer satisfaction, efficiency, and profitability.  As a member of an Account Team, it is imperative the Project Manager has the ability to work as a team and collaborate effectively.  Being a quick learner will allow the Project Manager to learn and assimilate technical knowledge related to projects.  Ultimately, the Project Manager is responsible for meeting deadlines, customer satisfaction, and maintaining/improving profitability.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned:

  • Act as the primary customer and contractor contact on many concurrent construction projects
  • Manage project construction schedules
  • Provide quotes for new construction projects
  • Detail and revising projects in industry specific software
  • Release project material to production
  • Assist Team Lead on other projects or assignments as required
  • Monitor Projects to ensure on-time and accurate delivery
  • Verify completion of all tasks to close-out construction projects
  • Demonstrate Industry Knowledge
  • Troubleshoot general contractor field issues quickly and efficiently
  • Communicate relevant account information to proper internal personnel
  • Complete Customer or company reporting as required
  • Have the ability to travel to job sites and customer locations as needed
  • Work closely Project Coordinator/Project Support Personnel
  • Minimize errors, oversights, back-charges
  • Escalate customer issues to Team Lead for quick resolution or direction
  • Identify areas to improve efficiency and/or service, or profitability
