The AVP Network Management is responsible for the successful alignment of the Company's services with market requirements and Provider capabilities, along with ongoing needs for innovation. The position leads a team of Directors and Managers who serve as P&L Managers for their geography and client-based Provider Networks, and drives the identification of scalable, provider-based strategies including but not limited to ACOs, Bundled Payments, Hospital Partnerships and Gross Margin enhancement initiatives. 

Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams in the development of high growth business strategies, products and product enhancements, and detailed business plans for the Company's Network portfolio.  In addition, the AVP will:

  • Identify pressing market considerations, factoring in current and future needs.
  • Assess innovation opportunities and identify barriers to bringing innovation to market.
  • Drive Provider strategy and development with an emphasis on competitive intelligence, market trend analysis and market research and ensure its' alignment with corporate strategy/product development activities in partnership with the Growth office, IT and Contract Management.
  • Create financial models and analysis designed to support key decisions for a go no go outcome.
  • Ensure requirements are accurately identified within and across strategies and that regulatory, administrative and marketing documentation is readily producible.
  • Stay current on market drivers related to Retail exchanges, Accountable Care Organizations and alternative care delivery models.

We expect qualified candidates will have a Bachelors' degree and a Masters'/MBA is preferred.  We also believe the successful candidate will have demonstrated (through previous managed care leadership roles) the ability to lead complex projects, strategic planning, and dispersed cross functional teams. This will require someone who has outstanding organization, financial, and analytical skills, along with formidable relationship and interpersonal skills to foster and facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve goals.
