Description: OVERVIEW A global leader in the manufacture of steel structures, substations and related products used in electricity transmission industry has an immediate opening for a Division Marketing Manager to lead marketing activities for the company’s Utility Division. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the Division Marketing Manager will work from the company’s offices in Memphis, TN.
Responsibilities: RESPONSIBILITIES The Division Marketing Manager is responsible for directing the planning, strategy, development and implementation of marketing efforts for the company’s new and enhanced products and services offered through its Utility Division. The Division Marketing Manager will oversee expansion of product marketing in existing international markets and entrance into new markets, and will develop recommendations and business plans for product line improvements, new products / processes / services, and market acquisitions, as well as manage / assist in the implementation of these initiatives. The Division Marketing Manager will also manage the sales and marketing of products in international markets including hiring of key personnel to oversee these activities. In addition, the Division Marketing Manager will have responsibility for the division’s strategic planning process and formation and management of important strategic accounts and business relationships.
Requirements: REQUIREMENTS The candidate for this position should be an experienced leader in marketing / business development. Special skills that are required, such as business acumen, strategic planning, creativity, highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, quantitative analytical abilities, communication skills, and a high drive for results. Other requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or equivalent experience. • Experience in management of personnel / department, sales and customer engagement, marketing strategy and analysis, and operating and capital budgeting processes. Broad-based business knowledge encompassing sales, marketing, finance, manufacturing and effective management of human resources. • Preferred Qualifications: Specific industry knowledge and experience, minimum 5 years of Marketing / Product Development / Business Strategy experience.
Compensation: COMPENSATION Base salary of $130,000, plus performance bonus up to 25 percent, capped at 2X, comprehensive benefit plan, and stock options. Relocation allowance offered as appropriate.
