Description: This Dallas-based distributor of wireless communications accessory products(tower components, satellite dishes, antenna, mounts and custom cable assemblies) has expanded operations into the Pacific Northwest with a warehouse facility in Kent, WA. It seeks a Warehouse Manager for this facility.
Responsibilities: --Oversee inventory shipping and receiving and assist staff when needed. --Verify received inventory for accuracy, while working with shipping companies to ensure required materials are delivered on time and as needed. --Fulfill customer and project plan commitments for on-time delivery and complete shipments. --Work with operations to ensure prompt loading and unloading to/from freight companies and contractors, as needed. --Work with other regional warehouse operations to share information and ensure inventory tracking and RMA tracking to meet Company goals and best practices. --Negotiate with shipping contractors, including acquiring multiple bids and reviewing vendor contracts to verify best possible shipping rates. --Ensure warehouse is OSHA-compliant. Schedule forklift and equipment training. --Track RMA's, shipping and receiving, and up-to-date inventory status of warehouse items to help asset management and control. --Arrange for maintenance, housekeeping and physical improvements to inside/outside storage areas.
Requirements: --Associate's degree with coursework in inventory management, or equivalent experience. --Three years of warehouse and inventory management experience. --Up-to-date computer skills.
Compensation: $45-50K, depending on experience, with full benefit package; no relo allowance.
