JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are hiring a Residential Mortgage Banker to actively secure new residential mortgage business. This role involves using a consultative and relationship-based approach to meet defined loan quality and production goals while supporting Ledyard's various lines of businesses. 

Location: Upper Valley, Concord and Bedford, NH.

• Actively secure new residential mortgage business
• Use consultative and relationship-based approach to meet defined loan quality and production goals while supporting Ledyard's various lines of businesses. 
• As part of this ongoing sales position, the Residential Mortgage Banker is responsible for building, nurturing, and sustaining a reliable network of professional relationships that consistently generate referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3 years plus experience in a financial institution or loan office
• National Mortgage Licensing System qualification
• Strong lending policy knowledge
• Expertise in residential real estate and secondary market lending practices
• Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects
•  Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong PC skills, including the ability to use all Microsoft Office Suite products
